Global knives - dishwasher?

OK, as lots of people seem to be looking at this thread I may as well post this here!

I need a new knife block for them. They came with a block but to be honest it's horrid and looks cheap. It's this set in this block

I want a nice wood/bamboo type block, ideally a much more compact one too but it needs to fit all the knives in it, and maybe a couple of extra ones too. Any ideas? Amazingly one of the knives is a bit of a tight fit in the supposedly custom designed block, on top of the fact it looks horrid!
