Recommendations for food near Gare Du Nord on Sunday night?

Hi all,

Got a last minute jaunt with the girlfriend to Paris this weekend on Eurostar and we're staying in the Gare du Nord area.

We'd like to eat somewhere near the hotel on the Sunday night. I appreciate it's possibly not the hub of all things gastronomic but would like to find somewhere with some Parisian character, French cuisine and friendly service.

Someone's recommended the Terminus Nord brasserie opposite the station itself but they've not been for a few years so it's not a recent review.

Thanks for the suggestions folks. Had a great trip over the weekend and still can't believe how quick the train travel goes between Paris and London. We ended up eating on the Sunday night at a small place called L'Ardoise Gourmande 10 minutes walk from the main station and would definitely go back again.
