Good pubs in Hereford?

Hotel booked just looking for suggestions for a good night out? Not into clubs or wine bars etc,

What is it with the majority of pubs closing at 11! Just getting my drinking legs on when the bell rung, only to find that all the other pubs had shut too!

Tried the Vaults, SpreadEagle and The Stagecoach which were all ok.

All in all a nice place and would go back. Maybe try a Saturday night next.
