I'm meeting my parents on Sunday near London Bridge in SE London on Sunday for some lunch, and I'm trying to find a good pub/restaurant that fits the bill

Requirements:
- Main courses between £8-£10
- Not likely to be full of drinkers / tourists
- Lots of tables

Bonus:
- Nice river view

Anywhere that is walking distance from London Bridge station is good so we can go as far as St Katherines Docks / Shad Thames to the east and Waterloo to the west.

Ideas please from people that know the area! Cheers!

Thanks - I'll check those out. I know Dickins Inn reasonably well and was considering that already, although it's a bit "Pizza Hut" if you know what I mean. Any more ideas welcome!

Thanks for this. It actually jogged my memory about a place next door called the Chop House. I just checked their website and the "bar menu" is exactly the sort of thing I am after. Table booked!

Thanks to everyone in this thread for the suggestions. I might actually try out the Lord Clyde on another day. It looks interesting.

I have eaten in the Chop House but only in the evening and the prices were above your suggest price range so I didn't mention it. I didn't realise the bar menu was so much cheaper.
Yeah, the bar menu is from £8-12, which is perfect.

German beer, german food (but good!) and its in a sort of cellar. V near the station, but a bit pricey. No river view because there's no windows but the sausages are Awesome.
Looks like fun, but one problem: http://www.katzenjammers.co.uk/images/3.jpg

Is one of them you, hence you've been before biggrin
Ha ha, no! It actually looks like a good place, but not the right sort of atmosphere for Sunday lunch with the parents.
