If you're anywhere near the Midlands there's a small brewery called Purity in Warwickshire

Ubu on draft is a thing of wonder.
Not really near the midlands, I'm a Suffolk boy! I will recommend any of the Earl Soham brewery ales, bloody good stuff! Although they generally knock me for 6!http://www.puritybrewing.com/vision.cfm

We had banana beer in the pub I work in a couple of years ago. I was a light ale with actual bananas put in during the brewing process. It was interesting.
Wells Banana Bread Beer - ![](http://www.geo.uw.edu.pl/GALERIA/BEER/UK/BEDFORD/bedford07.gif)
A seasonal cask beer, but more commonly available in bottles at a higher strength.
An interesting sounding brew, i've never had it, but i have heard from a few landlords that have served it on draught in their pubs that the flavour of the beer clings to the pipes for ages after the beer has finished and is impossible to shift!
Have had Waggledance from W&Y once or twice and that can be quite quaffable indeed!
OP, try a few summery pale ales, similar looking to lagers, but they have soooo much more taste!
Adnams Explorer, Hopback Summer Lightning and Oakham JHB are good bets (esp the formers other beers too, fantastic brewery)
