Stuff from the garden

This year has started very well - have had several pounds of raspberries, strawberries and a phenomenal crop of gooseberries. Just grabbed these; first crop of redcurrants this evening too.

I love gooseberries. Lightly cooked with a little water and some sugar. Then chilled overnight and served straight. So refreshing on a hot day.

Good served with a little vanilla ice cream/creme fraiche/fromage frais/whatever too.
