Ann Magnussen singing 'Folk Song' this is one of my all time Desert Island Disks.

I saw them play at the Duchess of York in Leeds many many years ago.

Right now I'm almost bawling hearing this on You Tube.

as much as i didn't want to listen to the whole 9min 46 sec of this song once i'd heard the first 30sec, i persisted to see what you're raving about.

she's got nice voice when she sings,but that 'song' could not,in a million years, be described (by anyone NOT on acid) as the greatest song ever written.
