The Pistols – God Save the Queen

Cracking intro, timeless and perhaps the intro to an entire genre and indeed generation.

Technically easy to play.

Propaganda - Duel (BitterSuite Mix)

If you're certain age and used to listen to the Top 40 on a Sunday night, Annie Nightingale always played this mix as the opener to her show. It was the perfect song for her to beat the intro vocal when she said 'Hi!'

I still can't hear that track without thinking of Daley Thompson and his bottle of Lucozade.

nono

Whiskey In The Jar was Eric Bell. Otherwise Gary's work with Lizzy was - as you say - awesome; Black Rose for me being the highlight.
