Noddy Holder
Saw him live a few times back at the beginning of time in a dark wee soho dive called The Temple. This was before anyone had heard of Slade and before any records either. They were a fantastic live band, and Noddy was a brilliant front man. But best rock voice? Hmm. :-)

Noddy Holder crossed my mind too, his voice is so unique and very pleasing to my ears (for rock), though (much like when I mentioned Blackie Lawless) I get it wouldn't be to everyone's taste.

In the same way, I really like Brian Johnson, also unique and instantly recognisable.

I like the screamy sort of rock! biggrin

I would also add, just because he suited his music / band so well, Lemmy!

Ronnie James Dio for me best rock voice ever.
Danny Bowes of Thunder.
Nev McDonald of Skin/Hand of Dimes.

I've always liked Blondie but it wasn't until I saw them live I realised just how good Debbie Harry's voice was. She can really belt out a tune, and they were much rockier live than on their recordings.

Never saw them live but always liked Slade. Nod used to live a few miles away when I was young and had a nice 70s SL.

Thought about this all day. Loads to choose from, but I would say Jon Anderson by far the best voice.

Not a fan of prog rock, or anything by Yes! but his collaboration with Vangelis showed he does have a truly amazing voice, and the ability to do some quirky stuff.

Some great voices early on in rock and some still going John Fogerty both solo and with Creedence Clearwater Revival . Or what about Bob Seger , John Kay from Steppenwolf .
Leslie West from Mountain has a great rock voice too .and is a fantastic underrated guitarist .music
