I can’t remember what the songs called, but there’s a song that goes “I’ve got an off black Cadillac, midnight drive got that gas pedal leaned back taking my time” quite nice for a midnight drive, although I’ve got a red Vauxhall.

Carter USM - Sherriff Fatman

In a hatchback from Notre Dame
The one and only Sherriff Fatman
And also from Prince in a Pauper's Grave

And go to the park
Where vicars and tarts
Prey for their tormented souls
By the American graffiti
From Elephant and Castle
In Ford Capri Orange
Volkswagen yellow and gold

Good calls. 747 (Strangers In The Night) is lyrically a great song - based on real/similar events, I believe.

Tom Waits - Sixteen Shells from a Thirty-Ought-Six

"tore out the buckets from a red Corvette"

Bonus points for actually using car parts (a brake drum) as percussion

Waded through the thread and Tom Robinson Band "Grey Cortina" springs to mind.

Hawkwinds "SIlver Machine" may or not be about a vehicle wink

There are plenty of other vehicle references in their songs - Death Trap for starters --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLRzKBShYjw

"Jesus Chrysler Drives A Dodge" and "Twin Cadillac Valentine" both by The Screaming Blue Messiahs

Also, from their song "Killer Born Man" ...

Zoom zoom - gimme room, gimme room
'cos I was born in a baby boom
I'm coming up on the Westway
in a 350 SS Camaro
I'm gonna go over an underpass
and get some gas!

Thought this was a Springsteen song but after a search found it's Sammy Hagar - Trans Am.

"From Daytona Beach down to Riverside/If there’s a race, she’s qualified/And my 6.6 gets a little too heavy/For a big boss Ford or a 350 Chevy’.
