me too! they were supporting GnR when we saw them last year, sounded brilliant, album sounds great too. cannot wait to go see them! although I think somehow I've ended up buying balcony standing tickets, always saw people standing there and thought they would get great views, guess i'll find out now!also on the list for next year: the eagles and slash & myles

I had the laptop, desktop PC and phone all logged into ticketmaster at 10am to get floor standing tickets! Interested to know what the balcony standing is like, always assumed it was a VIP area, I didn't realise you could buy tickets for it.Glad to hear you thought they were good - I know they split opinion as they sound very Led Zeppelin, but they sound like good musicians, he's got a great voice, and they seem to put on a good show and enjoy themselves, so even if they want to throw in a few Led Zep covers I'm fine with that

You might get to see him two weekends back to back ..... Michael Eavis is on record as a big fan of Sir Billy of Joel!
Sunday legend slot maybe? I can see that working.
My thoughts exactly! Didn't want to miss the opportunity on the hope that he would go to glasto though - that has bitten us before, studying tour patterns too much!! Sunday legend slot maybe? I can see that working.
Off to see the Manic Street Preachers in May hopefully. They announced a new tour to celebrate twenty years of the smash album "This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours" which will go to smaller, more intimate venues.
Nearest to me is Bath Forum, one of THE smallest. Needed to pre-order the re-released album (out December 7th) to get priority access for the tickets ahead of Friday when they go on general sale.
Can't wait. Have seen them in 1993, 2004, 2014 and 2018 so far.

there must be something legal about making the presale no purchase necessary, as i've managed to get 'album pre order presale tickets' just by signing up for biffy/ tom odell when they said the same thing on the website.
