And one more, because I've been watching these guys for ages, waiting for something decent, and it seems they've finally delivered.

Djerv? Were one of my highlights at hellfest, shame Ministry didn't venture north of the border, sold out last time they came too.

This has been on repeat since about 2200 yesterday. Whack the quality up to 480p and it sounds alot better.

Yes I did. Dejerv or something like that. Their sound was OK but I didn't like the female singer, you didn't miss much IMO.

Indeed it is. Blue is probably my most listened to album over the past 12 months.

Some decent bits but the clean vocals (not all clean vocals, these ones specifically) kill it dead for me.... or maybe I could get used to it as there's definitely some good stuff in there.

Didn't really like this album upon release, but it was 99p on Amazon so thought I should check it out again - given I like their early works and their newest.

Enjoyed it this time:

it's utterly absorbing for me ,i bet i've listened to it 20 times already.there is something in the sound that is more fuzzy in the lower register stuff that i usually don't get on with.i want surgical precision in my production quality; but somehow it works.

the big news for me last week was the new periphery album arrived.oh my god it is so good.there is a massive advancement in all areas from the first album....

i find it quite interesting that everyone seems to be drifting away from the direct meshuggah stylings of guitar riffs and time signatures

Can't decide whether or not I like this - First Fragment

Million and one other tech death bands out there, but these guys do at least seem to have some sort of tune going on beneath everything. Not just a barrage of fret wkery and endless blasting.
