Meatloaf's 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light' thumbup

I didn't know this song when I was seventeen, but it would've been my theme song if I had!

Now, however, good for transporting me back to those heady late teen days.....

Nor mine, but he's bright. Clever words. Slick group. Heard that over a month or more back.

What am I listening to at this very late (early!) hour?
Still one of my top records. And totally my cuppa!

Sort of relevant to today's world... (well, the title is!)

American group I first saw live in March 1980 in Oxford, who had just released this record, and this year they celebrate their 40th anniversary. The played this live that night, and I was hooked. What's nice is it's still on YouTube as the concert was filmed by the beeb.

Still one of the best groups out there. Lead guitarist M.C. is vastly underrated imo.

Here they are performing the song in 2012. Hope they come over here again.
