I never even realised 'they' were still going, I've just had to google it to find out what they're doing, Dave Wakeling now tours the US then with a form of the band called The English Beat.
I still listen to some of their classic early 80's stuff.

You really must look up the Beat's (with Roger) latest offering 'Bounce', it is a bloody fantastic bit of work, a Ska/reggae/rap mix up that is pure Beat, lots on Youtube.

Agreed, but I guess if its not broke then don't fix it. And thats the best they've done with a while.
Having said that I was talking to my (narky , moody) Italian buddy about it and found myself agreeing slightly when he said that he wishes some bands would just stop playing. They've done enough. So...
