It was also good to see that first Forbidden album mentioned too. Blew me away when I first heard it and they were as good live as on record..

Have fun guys.
Any excuse to post this again smile

Debut and Twisted into Form were as good as many of the more lauded albums of the classic era, but they seemed to fly under the radar. Omega Wave was a stonking comeback as well, even if Russ doesn't quite have the pipes he once did.

Um?

aAnd? - Bear Hugs

Discovered via a Facebook ad for a gig they have coming up at my local watering hole. Would be rude not to investigate.

It’s not heavy by most standards but the new Rammstein isn’t bad, but I’m entertained by the support act they have announced at Milton Keynes - 2 people playing piano!

I'm enjoying it.

I've also been listening to "The Algorithm" recently, instrumental synth-heavy prog metal.

New Vale of Pnath. Much blacker feel than their previous stuff. Straight up tech death is very hit and miss for me, but this blackened take is clicking immediately. Pnice!

Is it "heavy"? I'd say so.

Back from a cracking Metal 2 the Masses semi final in Northampton. Congats to Expetya and Reaper X (who were mighty), but also to all the other bands (Faces of Eve, Wovenlung and Orka), as everyone was on top form. Second semi next week, then HOP Fest, which has Vader headlining. Vader! In my local!

Anyone doing download next week? Any recommendations I might have missed, it’s not the strongest line up for heavy music but carcass and Alcest sold it for me.

It has improved TBF. Can't moan too much, live streaming didn't exist last time I saw them. Nor YouTube..

Cute wink

2000 for me, Portsmouth Guildhall. My first ever gig, then Reading festival and Ozzfest 2001. Think that was the last time I saw them live.

Will try and go see them if they do any UK gigs this year, I'm hoping something will be added in due course. It's been too long.

Interested to see what Batushka are like nowadays after the legal wranglings.

I’m not a fan of ATG really, but they were really good at bloodstock when they played.
