Tool appearing on Spotify on Friday
New album on 30th
A great month
And gone straight to the top of the iTunes album charts... in fact the whole discog is in the top 8. New album on 30th
A great month
Title track from the album Fear Inoculum, which apparently is 85 minutes long, 7 songs and 2 interludes
Listening at the moment... it's very Tool (good thing), but as ever it really needs to be listened to as an album.
Edit: 3:15 - 3:45? Not sure on this bit!

I thought I was going to start crying about half way through the first listen, I probably would've if I hadn't been sat at my desk at work, I'm not sure the people I work with would really have accepted that it being 13 years since I heard a new Tool song is an excuse for a grown man to cry.

A part of me thought this day would never come. I listened to it 5 times in a row but I'm going attempt to go easy on it now until the album arrives.

Told my colleagues to just ignore anything I did for 10 minutes at the lunch table today. Listened 12 times now.
More hardcore than heavy but Intense Degree have reformed. I’ve been reliving my teens, their energy and upbeatness is awesome.

Speaking of hardcore ...
Check out toby morse's podcast on spotify ",one life one chance"
Really insightful conversations with guys like roger miret from agnostic front and walter schriefels of quicksand......quite an insight into the roots of hardcore
In other sexy news..... we are back in the recording studio next week after a 19 year hiatus!!!...minus a singer which is st, but we have got a rather surprising guest singer in the works...can't say just yet though..

Congrats Tuscaneer
cheers tiger! it's been fking great to get my original bass player and drummer back in and back up to speed.... it was frustrating at first because i've never stopped playing or writing since 1999 when we packed it in....but a few months in and they were back up to scratch...i've been using instagram to network around guys from my era who aren't necessarily still active in bands, but are still networked within the scene.....
i find it truly amazing that i can have one to one conversations with these guys through social media whereas in my day it was all fanzines, tape trading and sending physical demos to labels

Never really exposed to power violence previously, but saw these guys at a local grind/doom show and they took my face off, so been getting into it a lot more of late.
