Can't agree there. Elton's voice is a shadow of what it once was. He lost a great deal of his upper range when he had nodule surgery and Elton has a band member that does the high stuff these days.

I think that's the most important thing for an ageing voice. Sometimes it is necessary to change the key and the way the song is sung.

Brilliant in the 70s but early as 1980 his voice was declining, tbh there's probably better EJ tribute acts than the real thing now and that's probably the case with a lot of top performers.
I think as a rule Americans tend to be affected less than Brits with ageing voices.
Big Kate Bush fan but wasn't overly impressed on the bits I've heard of them live shows she did a few years back.
