The only bounce i was expecting to see was a bottle bouncing off his head.

Unfortunately most of the crowd seem to be comatose.

comatose from the reality that they have paid 160 quid each to see this talentless tosser talk over other peoples songs, which are ste in the first place.

Not quite true, they could go and see massive attackwink

And U2 mixed with whitesnake is something I never thought I would hear!

I'm sure I'm a minority of one, but I think its brilliant, all be it one step from Jive Bunny... laugh

Just switched it on - I didn't know U2 were playing this year. That Bonos got a hell of a tan now.

Still a though.

The crowd watching Massive Attack sounded huge, much bigger than the one at Jay-Z.

Absolutely awesome set!! Hats off to the guy. I really think you lot really need to stop being so narrow minded. He shows appreciation towards all genres of music, just a pity that the rockers don't do the same in return.

WTF.

Why is it that folk disliking Jay Z are 'narrowminded'? Is there some implied accusation of prejudice here?

I thought it was st. Monotonous, repetitive, dreary. No more, no less.

Andycav, its something that some people 'get' and others dont. Rap music I mean..

And saying the guys got no talent is STUPID he probably has more talent than most of the acts there put together for his writing/producing/ghost writing.

And to get where he is today I have zero doubt in my mind has worked harder than most if not all I have seen so far to do it.

It always looks st on the TV, but as I say some people will be able to apreciate what it is, others wont, and you are one of the latter obviously.

Personally I think half the music thats come out of england for the last 2-3 years has been repetitive ste, with various odd band names along the way..

am here on site. And to be honest not my thing but you cannot fault the way he worked the crowd. Had to leave early as was going to catch The Automatic. But well done to Jay Z. Looking forward to Eddy Grant and the Verve tomorrow. Then home or straight to work on Monday. BB. A festival virgin!

What I don't get is how people connect or relate to rap music?

The lyrics and their content are so far removed from life in Britain, and the experiences of most people over here who listen to that type of music?

I don't get it confused
