Taking Wifey there this Friday for Her first ever live gig!!! Midge Ure so it should be pretty tame rofl
Some years back I had tickets to see Oasis at the Roundhouse and took MrsC. We were right at the front. Noel walked on and we could have reached out and touched him we were that close. However, about 1 millisecond after he walked on, everyone surged forward. MrsC panicked and I had to fish her out to get her to the back, where we watched the rest of the gig, accompanied by several "never again" from her! hehe

If she has to go to a gig at all she'd rather be watching it sat down with a nice cup of tea rofl

Ry X at Albert Hall last night

Present from the missus and bloody hell he was good, live orchestra and venue helped but he was brilliant and better than on record (CD/mp3)

I've just added the Pet Shop Boys at B'ham NEC (or whatever it's called these days) at the end of May.

I was 13 when West End Girls came out, and my instant reaction was 'what a pair of wkers' - at the time I was all trying and failing to be far too cool by being into Simple Minds and U2.

However as the years passed they grew and grew on me, despite me ostensibly being a 'rock' fan, I just think they make brilliant pop. Never seen them live before, I know they put on a great stage show, really looking forward to seeing them.

Can't quite believe that Neil Tennant is 65!!

Heading over to LA in May via Vegas for a few days. Husband happened to notice Gwen Stefani has added a date there for her Vegas 'Just a Girl' show. $40 a ticket cannot be argued with.
YouTube videos look really good and this is full showgirl as only Vegas could be. A large portion of the set is No Doubt stuff as well.

I am extremely excited!

I'm also idly monitoring The Whisky in LA spin

I'm going to see Cradle of Filth at the London Palladium tomorrow night. I never thought I would combine that band and that venue in the same sentence!

I'm going on my own like a sad git.

Now got Massive Wagons Christmas bash in Manchester, Buzzcocks also Manchester, Skids and Big Country in Dunfermline and another I forgot.
Who is the Buzzcocks vocalist?
Is Steve Diggle ill?
Ah I didn't know Steve Diggle had taken over from Pete Shelley, thanks.

ETA - can't find any gig listings. Things have been understandably quiet for the band since Shelley's passing. Anyone clarify on tour dates??
