Going to see Friendly Fires next week in London. Have been wanting to see them for as long as I can remember, so buzzing for that. Also a new venue for me - Roundhouse in London. Got floor tickets.

At pryzm? Was there tonight watching Jimmy Eat World.
Yes, weird venue with awful sight lines (because it’s a tacky nightclub not a music venue) but god must be their booker as Elbow played the day before and Foals in summer

I thought that. Very odd venue, but I did quite like it.

You're asking the wrong person. They could put out an album of screeching cats and I'd tell you it was the best thing ever.

But yes, very good.

What i like most about them is you never know what outrageous outfit the singers going to wear ? Will it be the blue short or the black shirt wink

Just secured a ticked for Funeral For A Friend's charity comeback gig at Cardiff Student Union on Sunday!

Tickets originally sold out instantly, but put myself on the reserve list, and just had an email with some extra tickets released and managed to get one smile

Just bagged a ticket for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds at The O2 in May.

I normally stand at gigs, but standing tickets were £71.50 incl the nasties, alas the norm for London arenas these days, whereas a seat in the Gods (which isn't that bad at the O2, in my view - pun intended) was a relative bargain at 38 quid.

He's someone I've always wanted to see, but only caught in his Grinderman phase which was a tad different.

Nice one .

There farewell gigs in Cardiff uni were the only gig I've been to where grown men were crying.

Want to go and see Nick Cave but I'm putt off by the fact that the only option now is the 02 Arena in London.

It was only a few years ago that I was able to see him twice at the Hammersmith Apollo, such a shame.

Maybe I'm being picky but just not a fan of the 02.

I have booked tickets for next year to see "Cigarettes after sex" who just released a new album today, proper shoegaze type music that I seem to enjoy.

And this weekend I'm off to a local gig at The Little Rabbit barn, blues and country music is someone back garden, quite a novelty!

Oh and also next year, Gregory Porter at the Royal Albert hall just because it's got to be done...

Best gig I've been to in 40+ years!

M
Morning after and I’m on a bit of a downer its gone now frown
I saw American Utopia at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham and that was excellent- but this was even better.
It was in a relatively small theatre and so much more intimate.
New York is his home town so the audience were very partisan and enthusiastic and
I,m not 100% sure he did as many songs but there was plenty of talking between each of the songs to make it a real journey and experience.

I’d have to move it up to the best gig in 40+ years category as well now smile

Hoping to get Diana Ross tickets when on sale next week. The only person I'd consider going to the 02 for!

He is brilliant live, but nothing will persuade me to watch a gig again at that rip off toilet

Prince was the last act I saw there as I had no choice
