It was a jolly splendid way to spend an evening.
Superb stuff. Another tick ticked off on the bucket list. Nightrain a highlight for me. Lisbon tomorrow night – a tad excited…. Especially from the reviews I’ve read here and online – it’s some show by the sound of it!
Incidentally I posted on this thread a couple of pages back saying I’d booked tickets for their Paris gig – I did, only later to realise I can’t make it. So, 2 x GnR tickets for Paris are now on sale…

I was so looking forward to this and now can't go as having to go offshore and work!!! Doubt I'll get another chance to see them.
This may also mean that I have 2 golden circle tickets available for Saturday night just in case anyone was interested, will do a deal below face value on them....

You'll not be disappointed people. The gig in Lisbon was awesome. Well over 2.5 hours and constant. Axl's vocal is still there, as is his energy, and Slash is just so good to watch and hear. A cracking concert all round. Contemplating Paris now... Let us know what you think of the London gigs.

For Guns and Roses, we can confirm that stadium island opens at 3pm and the gates to the stadium are due to open at 5pm. Supporting artists are due on stage from 5:45pm with the main act following. The curfew is at 10.30pm.

Well if they play for 2.5hrs as mentioned above, I would assume its an 8pm start
They started around 7.45 and finished around 10.30
Someone said they played til 10.45 the Friday but not sure what time they started.
Personally I felt the show was long enough.
Overall it was a good show - wouldn't say the greatest I've seen - I would congratulate them on at least having a big video screen to show the majority of the people who cannot actually see the band to see what is going on - something so many big bands lack.

anyone else seen theres an announcement due at 5am friday morning??
Not sure what to make of it, seems far too much fuss to make over re-issuing a 31 year old album.
the new website gnr.fm has a world map in the background, quite a few dots placed around where the new/old school appetite for destruction posters/ billboards have been spotted.
the new posters show all the old faces, #appetitefordestruction is the hashtag, they comment 'destruction is coming' are we getting another world tour? are they going to play the album start to finish on tour? are we getting the original line up back with izzy and adler?!?!?!
