Regarding the tout situation... According to the notes on the Royal Albert Hall web site tickets aren't transferable, though I don't know what mechanism exists to enforce this rule.

Do people actually buy them at those inflated prices?

To pay all that I'd want him to perform Oxygene parts 1 - 13, Equinoxe & Zoolook. Then Vangelis would walk on and they'd play a whole new collaborative piece!

I found my extremely amateurish piccies from the Docklands concert. Taken with some tiny little instant camera, I was only 16 and knew nothing about photography so be nice!

I managed to get a couple of Stalls seats from the Royal Alberts website yesterday. I thought they had all sold out ?

Anyway the mate I was going with might not be able to get now due to work commitments.....

I may end up ebaying 'em cry

I'm going to the Royal Albert Hall concert. I've got the stalls seats aswell smile

Here are a coulpe of my pics, (I was only 13 at the time).
I have a few more somewhere, these were taken from Prince Regent Lane, using a Pentax ME Super on a tripod smile

IIRC this was with the fixed 50mm lens.

Looking at the projections on the building, I think this was Revolutions.

And this one September smile

Found it! Bill Bailey's JMJ piss-take:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3SMB-YQ56s

It's between 01:50 and 02:35, plus watch to the end for the awesome 'Chaucer Pubbe Gagge'.

Is JMJ a fraud? I know that on his big shows it's all mimed and this'll be his first actual live show. But I think if you're worried about that at one of his mega outdoor shows then you've missed the point.

No I get the joke, it was just the debate on the YT link.

I like his music (not so much the newer stuff) but I'm no fanboy.

Ok, sorry. I didn't read that debate.

Some good feedback from this tour so far, really looking forward to it now.

Apparently he makes a disclaimer before he starts that the old kit has a habit of screwing up.

No pressure then!

If anyone here is going to the Manchester gig, see you there.

A word of warning for anyone who's going to the Royal Albert Hall gig...

British Summer Time starts at 01:00 on Sunday 30 of March - Don't forget to change your watch or you'll turn-up for the gig one hour late!!
