'Thin Air' by Drugstore

"
Hope everything we've lost
We'll find again
Another time
Or day
"

Immediately followed by 'Lights Out', also by Drugstore.

Thanks Alexa, that's proper cheery.

Been updating some of my Google Play Music and decided I didn't have the full Gary Numan back catalogue, so uploaded them all now.

While doing that have listened to both Tubeway Army albums (Tubeway Arms and Replicas)

got 2 more 12 hour night shifts to go, so will go through the Numan albums.

Pearl Jam's new album, Gigaton - it's so so; I switched to the thoroughly excellent and my personal favourite, the eponymous with avocado on the cover.

EDIT: Actually, that's unfair on Binaural, my favouritest late night dreamy drive album.

Some Scala Radio today - All of David Arnold and Bond Music which makes for a great way to start a lazy afternoon....

But now Alexis Ffrench playing Greig's most excellent"Wedding Day at Troldhaugen" just love that piece.... (this version very lively, almost too chirpy/fast by Nelson Freire)

Likewise at the so so stage at present too. I've a feeling it will grow.

Vitalogy is my go to album.

Triggered by a post I put on the guitar solo thread I'm listening my way through Sunburst Finish by Be Bop Deluxe. My word but it's a fantastic album with Bill Nelson at his best.

An underrated and oft overlooked band in my view.

The Lathums - Artificial Screens

Great new band from Wigan. If you like Arctic Monkeys, Courteeners, etc I would strongly recommend.
