The first Genesis album - From Genesis to Revelation. It sold only 650 copies at the time but there are some good tunes and it has that classic 60s sound that I really like.

Victories at sea. I saw them supporting the Boxer Rebellion and got hooked. Their second album is sublime. If you like dreamy vocals and 90's style indie guitar work then this hits the spot whilst still sounding original and unique (to me anyway.)

I'm currently nipping back and forth on open Youtube tabs between John Prine (discovered only after his recent death) and It Bites. Completely different styles, but i'm enjoying both very much.

Speed of the Sound of Loneliness was covered by The Alabama Three.

Cop Shoot Cop by Spirituaized was a reworking of the Prine song Sam Stone.
