"A tall shadow dressed how secrets always dress,
When they want everyone to know that they're around.!"

Probably the best piece of live rock music I've heard, go listen

Saw Cinderella in a party dress but she was looking for a night gown

I saw the devil wrapping up his hands, he's getting ready for the show down

"A Dustland Fairytale" - The Killers about his late mum passing away after illness. The whole song has some incredible lyrics considering the subject of it.

Blimey, that's a blast from the past. I can't remember the last time I listened to that.

And I hate you and you wife and if I get the chance I'll fk up your life.

Mr. Clean (He's obscene) by the Jam

Proof perhaps that for a short while Paul Weller was indeed the Greatest Living English songwriter, I think you will all agree.

In keeping with that:

"As I hesitated, time rushed onwards without me"

There are so many….

Emmylou Harris wrote the song “Boulder to Birmingham” after the death of a close friend, with this line:

“ And the hardest part is knowing I'll survive”

Mary Chapin Carpenter, from “This is Love” : “If you ever long for things that are only in the past, just remember that the wrong things aren’t supposed to last”

Or, Beth Nielsen Chapman, from “Sand and Water” which was written following the death of her husband and describing their young son: “And his laughter fills my world and wears your smile”

Those are all great lyrics to me.

"Because I don't say it, don't mean I aint thinkin' it"

One needs Dave Mustaine's level of aggression when reciting this line......

You could fill this thread with one liners from Frank….

I should probably go with the one I have tattooed….

“Live fast, die old “
