I've seen musical box on several occasions -each time was a recreation of a different album tour from back in the day. I thought each was brilliant (I never saw Genesis in Gabriel era)
Have seen Aussie floyd- again were great every time. These are both bands that the original bands go to watch
Also saw Hackett a few years ago, probably not quite as good as tMB!
Going to see Mama tonight. will keep you posted
I’ve not seen Musical Box but can recommend G2 Genesis who are superb musicians and play a varied set from the early Trespass era up to more modern stuff. Last year they played 3 nights at Milton Keynes Stables, sold out each night and a different set each night, so over 6 hours of Genesis, all note perfect and Dave the vocalist doesn’t use an onstage prompt, he has learnt all the lyrics.
Last night we were also at the Stables to see Talon, an Eagles tribute. Again a superb evening, sound and lights were excellent and it was good to see Keith Buck back on stage after his recent health issues. I first met Keith a few years ago when I was instructing at Mallory Park and he was marshalling there, we got chatting during the lunchbreak and I asked him what his “proper” job was, he then told me he was a musician and played regularly in an Eagles tribute band. We had seen them several times prior to this meeting.

Toyah & Robert Fripp Sunday service @ Sheps Bush Empire a couple of weeks ago. Bottom line is she looks great &
can still hit the notes but is a really annoying stage daughter proffering deep love for her cuddly bear guitar hero rock god. Who is a remarkable player, but perched on a stool, occasionally disputing her version of history like a train spotting Bowie fan. “Ack-two-alleee my love I sold Iggy Pop those socks in ‘84”. Enter Sandman, Paranoid & Tainted Love were absolutely awful.

Aussie Pink Floyd at Milton Keynes last night - superb sound, great visuals including inflatable kangaroo(!) and a laser show and pretty much note perfect. Highly recommended

We were also there last night, light show was amazing and the kangaroo and teacher great additions to the show.
The other excellent Pink Floyd tribute is Brit Floyd who are managed by Chaz Cole who originally many years ago managed Aussie Pink Floyd.

Not quite a normal band tribute, more of an genre tribute this one.

Electromantics - they're an 80's synth/new romantics covers band, think OMD, Depeche Mode, Erasure, New Order, Yazoo, Eurythmics, Soft Cell, Visage to name a few in their set. Saw them earlier this year and was blown away how good they were if I am honest.

I saw G2 Genesis recently, the band was very good.
Personally I thought Dave struggled a bit with some of the Peter Gabriel songs, he seemed more comfortable with the later numbers. They had a very good set list.
I've also seen Steve Hackett performing Foxtrot - he was great.
