Motorhead - Another Perfect Day 40th anniversary reissue.
Robbo spoiled what could've been a great line up, attitude stunk but fantastic guitar playing on this It was the first time I'd seen them (only my 3rd gig) and we all left really disappointed they didn't play any of the classics...nothing. That said you couldn't fault what they did play but doing almost all of the new album which wasn't out at that stage went down very badly. Robbo really stuck out like a sore thumb with his stage garb too, reading the sleeve notes in this 40th anniversary release it seems clear he was on a self destruct mission to wind up Lemmy and get fired, very strange for a professional musician.
Listening back now with the live set that's included with the release you realise how good this line up was live and actually missing out all the faves wasn't that bad as they had such a strong set of songs. Only saw them once again a couple of years later, they played everything then but by that stage I was fast moving away from metal so didn't bother with any subsequent tours or albums.
Oh and I've still genuinely never been to a louder gig in the following years since despite Mogwai coming close a number of times, probably not even legal now....
The most fake 80's pop video never made.

Timecop1983 - Back To You.
Lots of footage from the film Black Moon Rising. Featuring a young(er) Tommy Lee Jones and Linda Hamilton wearing a bush baby on her head, driving the car from Automan with a new paint job. (possibly)

Black Sabbath - Sabotage
I don't think there is much better than Hole In the Sky, Megalomania, and Symptom Of The Universe when it comes to the loud stuff.
Takes me back nearly 50 years! Was my first introduction to heavy music. It was my brother’s album. He bought it more because his best friend liked it. It was me (and then younger sister) who were really into metal.I don't think there is much better than Hole In the Sky, Megalomania, and Symptom Of The Universe when it comes to the loud stuff.
