Do you like your Dad's music?

I have very happy memories punting along in various terrible cars with my dad listening to all sorts of stuff. Lots of Beatles, Elvis, Cliff and the Shadows. Glen Campbell, Beach Boys, Carpenters. A lot of great songwriters singing great songs (well apart from Cliff and Elvis). It did go downhill quite rapidly when the Shadows started playing instrumental versions of any old MOR rubbish that Hank could find. He then went onto far worse things, which I could not possibly comment on. A few years ago I took him to see the Shadows... they were brilliant.
I'm happy to report that both of my children appreciate a lot of the stuff I listen to (especially my Zep mad son). Although demoing a guitar the other day in millers in Cambridge. I played a slightly angry version of Shake it Off (Taylor Swift)which made my daughter leave the shop in horror.
