That's the stuff. Most people's (not the PH elite obviously) typical idea of metal would be heavy or thrash metal - bands like Megadeath or Slayer - but i'm a much bigger fan of symphonic metal (or to subdivide it even more, symphonic power metal). Trans-Siberian Orchestra is another good example
