Just had my first guitar lesson!!

yes i'm 36 but why not! was great - when it stared resembling a music lesson at school he started playing some cure ( my fav ) and i was hooked!

he just started with some cheesy songs to loosen me up and has said come back to him with songs i want to play. he was using yamaha lessons books but the great thing was when he showed me cure stuff to make me interested.

suggestions please! def want do be able to do a few cure songs maybe will have to relook at nirvana unplugged! any others?

bought a guitar today nice black acoustic tanglewood - least it looks good even if the tunes coming from it at the mo are'nt!
