Wedding songs...

Getting married on the 5th July (getting close now!)

Just starting to think about the music for the big day. We're getting married in a registery office and we've got the following slots to fill:

• While guests are assembling (approx 15mins)

• Bridal procession (approx 2mins) Canon in D - Pachebel

• While register is signed (approx 6mins)

• Recession (approx 5mins)

Later in the evening our first dance will be to My Wish - Rascal Flatts

So we've got a bit of time to fill and we need some suggestions! I quite fancy Lilly Was Here while the guests are assembling as i've always loved the sax on the track, however my better half isn't so sure!

So guys (and gals) what can you suggest. Happy to mix it up between traitional and new songs! The problem is that most of the songs we like talk about losing love!

While we're talking weddings does anyone have any nice readings we could potentially use?

Don't think my usual choice of music (Eagles, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel etc will be that suitable!)

Nice one we'll have a listen.

Yeah 15 mins is a long time so we were planning to have a number of songs (i think I should be able to choose these ones as Amy won't be there to hear them)

We were going to have Canon in D - Pachebel, but I said I'd be singing coolio as she walked down the isle... she wasnt a happy bunny . Still to find another song too, and were getting married on the 14th June!
