I have to say after years of working in an adult shop it takes a whole lot to offend or upset me. That being said I've been hearing one song over and over on several of the local radio stations that really gets my panties in a twist.

Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You"

Has anyone actually listened to the lyrics of this song?

http://www.metrolyrics.com/my-life-would-suck-with...

To sum it up this guy told her to feck off pretty effectively, came back whining, and she's deliriously happy because her life would suck without him. They fight constantly, he's "screwed up" and they're viciously dysfunctional but her life would suck without him.

Really? This guy is a useless sack who has told you to ps off, but you're thrilled that he begged you to take him back?? Really? Lady, you need help. Or you deserve what you get. Either way I hardly feel it's a song I should be listening to kids singing along to when I'm out. Lets go and tell preteen/teenage girls that it's okay to keep a stty boyfriend around because their life would suck without them. ranting

Am I completely off my rocker? Anyway, how about you guys? Any songs that get you going?

Don't I though? biggrin Ah well.

I'm totally agreeing with the Nickleback songs (Except Animals).

I just don't get how playing a song 15 times a day is really a good thing. Personally I think that radio stations should limit one song play at least during normal business hours. Some people have to listen to the radio all day at work. After hearing the fourth song for a third time by lunch it gets to be really monotonous. Some radio stations are worse than others. Would something like that be so hard to set up?

Absolute radio has a no-repeat guarantee on the daytime slots
None of the local stations here (west FL) have that. It would be nice.
