dont actually says anything about friday though
you're right, but the thread doesn't say anything about what day, just if there was a PH car park wink I guess they would be assuming that most people were going over the weekend, thought friday was trade only

Hi All

We have not been able to set aside an NEC car park for Phers, due to huge logistics with moving traffic and some 15,000 cars expected on the saturday we just couldn't get this organised.

apologies for the late notice but we really have been trying to get some movement from the NEC up until yesterday.

however...

we will have in the region of 150 PHers cars in the show (as well as all the commercial exhibitors cars)It is going to be an awesome show of PHers metal.

Beef
Looks like the Vette is going to be left at the parents then. Not going to leave it in the car park for the Kevin and Sandra tracksuit families to scrape their double buggy against.

No idea, I applied, get the online application errors and just left it at that. I'm taking my uncle out for a spin on Sunday to cheer him up after getting flooded out a few months back. A much more worthy cause!!

Any excuse to have a rob! At the Classic Show in November one of my mates displayed his car on the Corvette Club stand. End of Saturday and his valve caps had been nicked - and thats the Classic show, nevermind the car park.

I guess its too late to alter it now. I guess the moral of this is not to advertise something until its a done deal. What with this and the earlier confusion regarding tickets and entry days, its all been a bit of a mess I,m sorry to say.

Anyway I intend to still take the Vette and have a good day on Saturday.

Don't think i'll be going then, as it only takes one tit to slam their door into mine and it's more than a dent i'll be looking at.

kids love 'em, be on a bmx somewhere, we did the FIA GT at Silverstone 2 years ago and one guy caught a kid knicking caps, made him turn his pockets and he had around 70 !

Is that not a bit OTT? Could still quite easily get a "tit" accidently slam their door into yours in the PH carpark. Do you never park in any car parks?? If anything, I'd say parking at an autocar event would be more car friendly than your average car park.

Well PH carpark or not, I'll be there in the Burgundy Battlecruiser proudly flying the PH flag (not the actual flag mind, never got around to buying one hehe)

Disclaimer: I hereby admit that the "Burgundy Battlecruiser" is worth considerably less than most of the PH vehicles laugh

I never park near other cars, be it tesco, the multi storey, etc.

But at the NEC you're all lined up to park, so you don't have a choice of where to park. So no i don't think it's OTT as it would be my luck to park next to 2 zafiras packed to the gunnels with kids and prams.

Plus you could still end up with that same car with all the prams also containing a PHer and so next to you in the PH car park.

I couldn't really see the PH car park being much different to the general one. There's still plenty of people here who own family cars and would be bringing them.

I don't but one benefit of societies lazyness is that the only people who park at the far end of the car park tend to be people who care about their cars.
