It's actually one of the early traction control models.
I found the Paj owners club, (good recommendation BTW)which is a mine of information and I've also bought a maintenance manual off Amazon. It's a fair weighty tome, published for the Australian market. I think it's probably sufficiently detailed to enable me to disassemble it down to its base components of earth, air, fire and water.

They are not bad to work on, most parts can get from Europarts or from Milner off road.

They where helpful when I decided to retro fit a locking rear diff to mine, so have best of both worlds Traction control and a locking diff
