Hertz long term are pretty good. V8 land cruiser for 6000aed/month not sure which coupes they have though
That's not bad. How do I get that rate? If I go on to their website it's 11,000aed.If your wife is sorted and you just need something to get to work In etc, you should easily get a mid size boremobile for circa 1400 a month without too much trouble. Current cheapo favourite seems to be the MG compact suv thing
Work for Dell technologies, specialise in converged and hyper converged IT infrastructure.
Just myself as recently divorced! But that’s one for the speed, plod & the law section! needless to say it went about as well as all the rest of amicable divorce turned sour el rapido! topics! Kids remaining in UK too
Been eying up GT3s as they look good value compared to UK prices! Don’t think I’m brave enough to buy a McLaren!

Thanks, any companies recommended for leasing? Is it the usual wait for 3 months salary statements?
for lease, any of the major hire companies. deal depend on who's giving them cheap product. ours are supplied via hertz and the list changes fairly regularly. your PRO should be able to sort it without statements otherwise whats the point them being there.ChuChuRitzy said:

Very true. Ours are proving to be very good but very much at the high cost end of the spectrum.Wife and two daughters 3 and 5 circa 19000 aed for visas and id under my sponsorship. Or am I wrong? All vip and in country.

Haven’t a clue, I’m single. I think the company o work for pays for and arranges all dependent visas anyway.Wife and two daughters 3 and 5 circa 19000 aed for visas and id under my sponsorship. Or am I wrong? All vip and in country.
As for meets, I see most people from here socially from time to time, most motoring related stuff has migrated off forums onto fb or whatsapp - dubai drives for example has become very popular.
big chunk of us do track days and race, so usually at the track. If you’ve always wanted to race then it’s very accessible to do so here. No talent required, or maybe that’s just me.

So had the Dodge Challenger for 4 days and now found a local car hire office with slightly older cars with very good rates in Bur Dubai. Currently staying in Bur Dubai and enjoying eating out for cheap. Paratha brekkie and Chai £1.20, lunch was skipped and a curry for £6 for supper.
Very strange as whenever I've been in Dubai over the last 15 years it's been on expenses and I've never worried but now it's my money I'm enjoying myself more, strangely enough.
House handover has been handled incredibly poorly. No AC in a couple of rooms. Water pressure terrible, cleaning services v poor but all slowly getting sorted out.

Still getting used to the sheer amount of ermmm paperwork here.
Didnt realize that any deliveries to the villa had to be booked in through DP portal minimum 2 days in advance. I foolishly bought and had organized delivery of some office furniture I found on dubizzle. Hastily now rediverted to my office in AL Quoz.
Is there any way round this?
