Ironically it's probably more expensive to run an electric car in Dubai than a petrol one...
Depends who you are, locals pay sweet FA for electricity!

Nicest 991 I have seen.

Clear rear lights and a double spoiler, Ducktail plus one that rises, is that the 991 Aerokit?

Not the best picture as these guys and their escort were using all but one lane of the highway so it wasn't easy to slow down and get a good photo. Convoy was full of Marussia and Toro Rosso boxes so presumably these belong to one of them.
Haha, few quids worth hanging off the back of that.

Will be interesting to see how the GP goes this week, I see protests are planned.

I blagged a go in a bright green maloo. God I want one.
Yes that's the one, I forgot the name but just googled it, the Lumina based ones are nice but Maloos seemed rarer and look the dog's danglies.

Edit - mmmmmm - http://www.hsv.com.au/Gen-F/see/Maloo-R8/

Marina Mall on Friday afternoon.

I think that is the one I saw at the golf club by the looks of the wheels, had a for sale sign on it then.

In my car park - appears to be a daily (or weekly) driver whose owner likes Maccy D's judging by the amount of bags, drinks and burger wrappings in the car.

Only in Dubai would that get attention and the 599 (I think that's what it is, did you take the photo with a potato?) is ignored.

Excuse my ignorance, but who is "The big man"?
HH Sheikh Mohammed al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, notice the licence plate - Dubai 1.

As far as plates go, pretty much priceless.

Ah, thank you. Does he have a fair collection then?
Unsure how deep his collecion runs but suffice to say it will be pretty impressive.

He has 7 identical G Wagons on that number 1 plate, all rumoured to have a Brabus engine upgrade that is over 7 litres.

His new FFRR was the first customer car delivered anywhere in the world I believe.

The Crown Prince (his secod oldest son) has at least 2 Veyrons.

i think HRH's collection is quite modest - his taste is in g wagons and bentleys. hopefully he has a classic or two tucked away.

his uncle ahmed i reckon has some tasty metal, he owns victory team racing in which fazza also has an interest.

for me the hands down emirati petrolhead is mohammed bin sulayem. there's a good clarkson vid of him spanking his escort cosworth and f50 along szr. spencer bought a grp a cossie from him a few years back.
He has a CLK-GTR thingy as well doesn't he?

Plus he can actually drive!

Nice spot! Why would you hate the Carrera GT though?
Paul Walker (the guy in the photo under it) died in one.
