  1. 11 is taken in the Red Dragon series this year - so i'll be #71 in all racing smile
I'm hoping the FC will be ok for an MR2 - soon find out as have entered for Oulton on June 12th.

Back with the MR2 for Lydden smile

yay that was Mallory last year, nice one!

Wish I was with the MR2s this weekend, but unfortunately i am stuck sunning it up in a posh hotel in Greece, oh wait...

nope, racing definitely more exciting...

Just to add to this thread, I did indeed end up doing the Future Classics at Anglesey. Our mildly tuned MR2 turbo qualified fourth behind a Lotus Esprit, Porsche 928 and invitation 911 turbo. We dropped back to sixth in the race following a drive through penalty (I loosened my belts in the pit lane - lesson learnt) but had a great time and will almost certainly return.

nice, sounds good! I'm registered (I hope) for the Oulton Park outing, so we'll see how that goes smile

Why a penalty for loosening your belts in the pitlane - not sure I understand why thats a penalty offence? unless the car was moving and it was mid-race?

I suspect that was absolutely the case - CSCC races have compulsory pit stops.

Yes indeed, first race I've done in a long time with a driver change and I started to slacken off my belts before the car had come to a complete halt. It did confuse the driver I handed over to somewhat as he got a drive through penalty on his first lap, knowing he'd done nothing wrong...
