Here's a few more pics of the CNC saloons/VTEC challenge/other stuff from Sunday. There's about 190pics in the album in total, some good some shocking and some average

Very good day. There wasn't a bad race to be honest, 2nd VTEC challenge race got spread slightly, especially after Rich Voaden in the orange and white DC2 was nearly 10seconds ahead after 2 laps!
The CNC race was very entertaining, even with the DTM car sticking a lap on pretty much everything else in the field, and I liked the idea of the 100km race that was on also, the race was done in teams of 2 cars, slow car goes out 1st, then when it pits in it swaps with the quickest car, so you kind of end up with 2 races in one.

I'm not familiar with this CNC series. Is it pretty much an "anything goes so long as it looks vaguely saloon / sport with a closed cockpit?". Looks like quite a diversity of cars. What are the classes / regs like, in a nutshell?
I always like to see series where ex-one make cars can come to retire and have fun once the testosterone fueled teenagers have finished bleeding daddy's wallet dry on panel damage.

Not really sure myself to be honest ;hehe: the first I'd really seen/heard about it was last week. I saw the VTEC challenge was at Oulton then did a quick YouTube search after hearing the CNC series was worth the viewing also. Spot of web searching will be done this afternoon to find out more about it, and to see where else they're racing this year. What are the classes / regs like, in a nutshell?

Some of my photos from the Historic Masters Series at Brands Hatch this weekend. Fantastic day out, great weather, suprised there weren't more spectators!

Nice pics chap, and of the cars I love too. Unfortunately got fed up of paying through the nose to get in to Masters events, just attend HSCC/HRDC stuff nowadays..Gassing Station | UK Club Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
