No, we didn't people promised entries, not enough transpired, and just at the time I couldn't afford to pay for a number of TBC entries out of my own pocket, then the even became fully subscribed and I got a little pissed off, becasue I'd started to but equipment such as tea urns and the like.
Ho hum, a mob of us are going down anyway cos it's a brilliant day out, without the stress of trying to herdcats, sorry, drivers. If you want to meet for a coffee PM me.
Regards
Iain
ETA Where have all the Jag XK's, Cobras and chain drives gone? Have they been put off by the longer circuit?

There will be cobras out there, 'the grunties'. The driver line up hadnt been confirmed before the finals were sent out. I'll be out there with the 'belfast flyers' now, drop by and say hi.
Today was a great day out. We were a little confused by the handicap system but it was still a lot of fun. The car ran really well and the weather wasnt to bad although we did have a little rain but all was good. Really glad nobody got hurt and most of the cars came back in one piece!
Lol! I spent a good minute or so looking at this picture thinking "That guy's got the same helmet as me" before I realised it was me!
What a great event again this year - and isn't the international circuit fantastic?! My team of MR2s came third in class, down from first last year but we're already making plans for the next one.
Cheers,
Patrick
Erzberg, nice pics. I'm just uploading mine to my pbase gallery now so will post a link when they're done.
Patrick, I popped into the garage to say hi a couple of times but only saw you once and you were sitting in the car waiting to go out on circuit, so I figured it best not to disturb you then! I did wave a quick hello so you may remember.
Well done on the 3rd in class. The MR2s looked pretty good out on track, especially the orange one that was going like the clappers! Got plenty of pics for you too.
A good race and a well-deserved scratch win by the Hart Attacks and their team of Clubmans cars. It was a shame the Fraser Nashes and Bentleys were missing this year as they're always spectacular to watch, espcially Mark Walker's wonderful Thunderbug. Maybe they'll be out again next year for the 60th running of the race. I was down at Farm when the rain came which made life quite interesting for a lot of the more powerful rwd cars (XJSs, Morgans etc).
Excellent day out once again, highly recommended to anyone whose never been before.

Nice pic's Trackside
I take it you were 'presspassed' for the day.
I didn't get there until 2pm and the media centre was locked. I could of used my tabard from last weekends MSVR but commonsense prevailed and I handed it in.
A 70-200 isn't much cop behind the barriers and debris fencing!

Were you the young chap, mid twenties, darkhair? I saw someone fitting that description on the corner at farm after the rain (watching the 'green' BMW drifting!)outer trackside.
Um, could have been me; I do have dark hair, but I'm late thirties. Didn't see anyone else in that vicinity at that time though...Must be that Oil of Ulay I use...
