New Sprint Series - Curborough & Throckmorton
Discussion
Looks like Motorpunk have launched their own little series of sprints for 2015. Details here:

I think a few of us will have a crack at that, I've done an MP track day before and it was a hoot (although I was pretty desperately hungover and in an old tail-happy BMW).
I don't know what the cost of sprints usually is but this seems pretty reasonable.

It's two venues for now ![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)
(I'm helping organise the championship, and Sprintandtrackday will be running the events)
The cost of a normal sprint is about £80-120, and you'll get about 3 runs. At our events we're limiting the amount of participants on the day, and maximizing the amount of runs you'll get - this will easily be 20+.
We also facilitate testing, and a lot of hillclimb/sprint guys come to us pre-season to shakedown their motors.

Did a day at Curb ahead of a Nottingham SCC championship sprint event to test/practise - just the job

Castle Combe sprint is the first of the season for many and the third MSA-licensed sprint of the year. I'm doing 3 events before mid-april...

Anything that isn't totally stripped and is road legal. It's mostly MX5s, but there's been a few minis, rallyes, KAs etc.
Thanks, might pop over for a couple. Mainly so I can let friends double drive as a one off without them having to get license etc. Looks intersting and good value. I took over 300 pix today [19 March] and car owners can have copies FOC by making contact with me & I'll 'We Transfer' them to you.

First time I've driven the figure of eight course and it seemed strange going the "wrong way" down the track from the Molehill . It's a great course . My lurid over steer out of the hairpin on my second timed ( last ) run was due to a rear wheel nut coming loose ( and they are centre locks ). Note to self - check nuts are tight before driving . No damage done .
