I'm looking to buy a set of race underwear and I've bought a couple of tops/bottoms/balaclavas to find the most comfortable for myself but I wanted to ask, is there any difference in wearing black vs white in terms of temperature.
I'm sure everyones parents at one point told them not to wear a dark tshirt on holiday as they'll get too hot but does that matter for race underwear? I assume not as you're not in direct sunlight but thought I'd check before buying something that will hopefully last a few years!
Secondly, I've been looking at a Freem suit, does anyone have experience with them or HRX? They both seem to offer the similar tailored/custom designed suit but I'm looking (as everyone is) for the lightest/coolest one within reason.
Thanks

I'm not really overthinking it, I'm just asking for a bit of advice before I spend £300 on some race gear. Theres hundreds of options so it makes sense to ask peoples advice on it before buying something and realising I could get something better for the money. I suppose next time I'll just buy the first thing I see and keep shtum. Thanks for your help!
Returned the Alpinestars and Sparco sets, kept the Walero. Not used them in-car yet but from reading around the Walero seems to get very positive reviews.
Easiest way to describe them from just trying them on; the Alpinestars/Sparco ones were more of a stretchy base layer whereas the Walero feel like nice quality pyjamas
