Modified Ford Capri - eligible for what race series?
Discussion
My latest hair brain scheme is to buy a Capri, in the back of my mind I see a Zakspeed replica fitted running a Ford 302ci V8, in reality it would probably be only mildly modified, few handling improvements and bigger wheels.
Mk 1 Capri modified along the lines of the RS3001 would be nice and probably easier to get the right look than the Zakspeed replica with one of the later models.
Any ideas what race series these kind of cars would be eligible for?
Does anyone have any experience of suspension setup on any of the above for track racing?

Funnily enough we already had a couple of V8 Carpi's under build for Classic Thunder/BOSS.
If you want any more information please feel free to contact me as I am the co-ordinator for the Classic Thunder bit.
On the suspension front, most people would look to multi linking the rear.
Hi Denisb, will have a bit of a read up of the regs first and then im sure I will have some questions if thats ok.If you want any more information please feel free to contact me as I am the co-ordinator for the Classic Thunder bit.
