OK, so I will post to myself then!
Interesting to note, looking at the Owners WIKI, that from nothing, we have 4 builders/owners in the Glos/Worcestershire area!
Is it the water?
Might have been one or two before, but they never made themselves known!
Ahh well...I am bored with talking to myself now.........
Boorrrring!... boooring...boooring.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

LOL! Yep, one of the new cars is about 1.5miles from me... hopefully meeting up for a natter this weekend.
No real updates from me.... Dash & doors are away for leather..... centre console, handbrake and gearstick surrounds are being painted...... last computer parts not arriving until this weekend.... basically, all is quiet for the moment.
Instead, I'm busying myself building a 22V 1/8th scale RC truck to go with my nitro Childish I know, but what the hell, LOL!!

I think that im the new owner of your old car as i dont know of another gtr thats grey with an orange stripe, the engine is an LS2 that puts out 518bhp, if this is your old car i would be grateful of any history about the build as i have no info on this. Cheers Karl.

hi karl i built the ultima in 2005, ran it for 12months and put it up for sale in 2006,chap bought it lived in herefordshire, after about 6 months he had a mishap with not locking the rear clam properly and ended up using it as an air brake,he contacted me and i arranged to go over to fit a new one he had ordered from the factory.after going to le mans in it he rang me to tell me he had had a fantastic time in the gtr and loved every moment in it.after about another 9 months he had blown the engine up,driving it while wearing headphones as he did all the time? so he could not have heard a tappet noise was getting louder and eventualy ended up snapping and causing damage.also he used this car as a full time daily driver for work etc.he contacted me again and asked if i wanted it back now with a nackerd engine i said no but would help fit another engine if he wanted to. he declined and put it up for sale.was the last time i herd of the car. ps live in bromsgrove, just round the corner from redditch so not far away from other builders it seems.
hi JBC glad to see that the dolly is together and doing its job sorry to here about your recent incident hope all is ok,356 SPEEDSTER have been watching your build with great interest, almost done soon to be on the road, look forward to seeing it someday, amazing build quality well thought out i think.
Hi 356SPEEDSTER what was you up to under the rear clam for steve, i understand there was still work to do on the car when steve bought it.
JMWRAM thanks for the history, you did a good job building the car, its still rattle free and all the panels line up spot on, could be something to do with you being a panel beater!

Doesn't this weather do bad things to your resolve to get the project pushed on?
Am I the only one?
So I get home after work having mapped out what I would like to achieve that night or maybe the weekend, then have my tea, pop into the garage and.....
...it's cold and not that inviting here.. and there is 'er-in-doors' all cuddled up next to a roasty fire, on the sofa in front of the telly...so what the heck am I doing in the garage then?
All resolve evaporates... I make excuses like ' Oh that bit is complicated - that bit means I will have to take that off, then this bit, then - Oh! Fudge-it! - needs more time than I have tonight - and the light in here is not that good'
...so effectively argue myself out of the job... toddle out of the garage to the fridge for a 'comfort tinny' and go capture yet another Pirate Camp on Far Cry 3, or join a grinning Wife on the sofa!
DOH!
