My wife has suggested that I should put a bed in there but she spends hours playing with her horse so no complaints really.
The platform is a covered store room full of mainly junk so is due for a sort out.
The TV is to the left of the first picture, and no it's not too big.
I do make a point of not working too late in the evening and not to the exclusion of everything else. I want to keep my wife on side when the bills start to roll in as she does our accounts!
I will update with more pictures as I go but I am not planning a "build site".

Paul: you're looking at this all wrong. My wife also has horses, several of them and she competes on them in dressage. Once, several years ago shoe strated to say something about some money I had spent on one of the toys in the shop. I imediatly started listing the costs of horse ownership. I didn't get very far beyond shoes, vets and hay when she threw her hands up and said" If I never bring this up again will you forget that I said anything: The truce has lasted longer than most marriages. LeeI don't get to see all the bills for the horses (3) and she loves to pay cash for quite a bit of it so nothing on paper - clever eh!
I will be putting another 6 acres down to grass this spring to cut our hay/haylage costs over the next few years.
I don't begrudge her her hobby but mine tends to come with some large, obvious costs whereas hers are smaller but more often.
Paul
paul as you said "she pays the bills " she likes to pay in cash"
I support my wife totally in her hobby. BUT, don't let anyone tell you a horse is cheaper than a car. Of course this is all said in good humor, good wives are hard to come by, bad ones are even harder to get rid of and pay off. If it takes a hay burner or two to keep the Harley Davidson's out of the driveway, cheap investment! good luck with your rebuild. When you get to the point of putting the windshield back in P.M. and I will see if I can come up with another windshield gasget. Way better than mountiong the window with silicon. Lee
