Doh!! I have given the wrong answer.

Here is the correct one:

The new shorter springs will still need to be used with an unmodified collar and a helper spring. The helper spring with the shorter 160 spring will be a a complete helper spring (the one i have pictured above has been cut in two by the factory to fit with the taller springs). This complete helper spring, will then compress under vehicle load and the plastic collar will not bottom out on the spring cap.

Phew got there in the end!

The factory took back the uprated springs and supplied these new, shorter ones with full height helpers and a handy instruction to get the car to the correct height. Give me a starting point before any slight adjustment when corner weighting.
