I'm thinking that the starter solenoid is the problem as it only happens when the engine is hot. Dows anyone know what spec starter they run so I can see if I can find one cheaper than the factory?
Oh yes, and I found out why the air-con wasn't blowing very cold. The belt had snapped. I have ordered a new one and will have a go at fitting it. Looks like a bit of a pain as the serpentine belt has to come off first before I can fit the air-con belt.
The belt that broke is a 4PK1100, does that sound like the correct belt? (Hope so as that is what I ordered!)

I looked elsewhere to the factory and I think you may struggle to find what you are after.Oh yes, and I found out why the air-con wasn't blowing very cold. The belt had snapped. I took my alternator there and they re-conditioned it as they had no exchange unit , cost £60.00 turned around in 1 day!!!
They have all manner of re-con starters on the shelf (biggest stock I have ever seen).
