If it helps, I decided to make a GRP mould of the floor, then I popped it out and gave it to my trimmer to wrap & stitch in carpet. Hey-presto, a perfect fit and as I lipped the GRP over the drop for the pedals and nr the seats, it holds itself in place with no drilling or glue. It's worked perfectly. In combination with 3mm acrylic sheet, I did the same on the side & bulkhead panels. This means all my trimmed panels can be removed and the car can be back to perfectly preserved bare ally, should the next owner wish it that way.

Great idea. I might 'borrow' for the floor pan section.Gassing Station | Ultima | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
