It would appear to be the car that had an unfortunate first test drive.

So you have a welded can am/gtr chassis, no body, no lights, no screen, q plate and a 30k price tag. Am I missing something here, but who would part with that sort of money, I honestly think it is min 10-12k overpriced and personally wouldnt want it with a chopped/ mixed chassis
My thoughts exactly. I wouldn't go near this with anyone's barge-pole.V8Dom said:
what the hell is all those rivets on the bodywork for?
He's stiched split fiberglass together with ally reinforcement. It'll never fly.
Needs a complete new body and then you have to trust the "modded"chassis is safe.
Even the engine is a gamble.
Too much work and parts needed for the money asked.

It would really concern me- i believe the gearbox locked up so that would need a rebuild as would he engine!
Perhaps the seller should add this picture to ensure people travel all over europe to buy his cars

I am sorry but there is no way that car should be rebuilt.

Completely agree with the above, seems ridiculous to rebuild that
Really if it's had a new chassis!!!!! And it's very easy to check suspension parts etc for damage.Like anything it will depend who repairs it. The car could be nearly as good as new when finished. But would need most of the bodywork replacing which for me means the price is too strong. The car needs pulling apart and a full rebuild. I think if it was around £20-22k it would be worth a look.
I quite like the idea of the CanAm chassis with GTR roll cage. The GTR chassis sure isn't one of the best areas of the GTR so maybe they are onto a good upgrade. I know it's not ideal for the purists but performance wise it could help a little.

i emailed him as a matter of interest
reply was
Cause of accident was determined in our opinion being: near side front track rod end loose, under steer, over steer and loss of control around the bend coming onto a collision with a tree.
This has been rectified and all mechanical parts have been torqued to (Ultima sports ltd) specifications.

So.... small thing was missed, car had an altercation with a mostly solid object, but the broken bits were knocked straight and everything was torqued to "FT". Job's a good 'un reply was

If the same person that crashed the car is doing the "rebuild to this point" Then why would you trust any of their work if they allowed a steering component to be that loose and still drive the car? If its a different person involved at this point then they aren't necessarily mechanical idiots, but they most think someone out here is a financial idiot to pay that much for a pile of troubles.
