I was having a little discussion with Roadrunner about the merits of a GTR vs a Radical or XTR2, on the Porker forum. Please reassure me that he doesn't know what he is talking about here... 'xtr2 beats ultima on track'???

A new factory built ultima costs £70k (got a quote). A new built xtr2 cost £20k. Xtr2 beats ultima on track - simple. Even if you discount your own time in terms of build costs over the months, you still have £45k v £20k. The argument of second hand is still the same. A used Radical is £20k, used ultima is £40k. Your paying £20k extra for a roof. Add on top of that the difference between 5mpg and 40mpg and your looking at another few hundred quid a month. Why? It doesn't add up for what it is.
