Hey, what's with my thread being hijacked
Anyway, back to the point. Stuck in Blighty at the moment. Was in Cape Town a few weeks ago but not quite the same thing. May be back next month some time but unfortunately it keeps getting pushed back. Still plan to do 28 day rotations from approx. January though

Probably up to and including sea trials on the vessel next autumn. Hopefully may even get a job in Singapore/KL/Batam then.
My erstwhile employer (sorry, client, being a day rate bast*rd) should sort all permits out correctly, he says hopefully. I really need to spend as much time as possible in Singapore come March (assuming the ship keeps to schedule) so may be looking at 4 and 2 or something. Can't spend all my time there as Mrs x200sxy runs her own TCM business (she's from Shanghai)/our daughter has just started school/there's a large hound to look after.
As an aside it's a rare beautiful warm sunny day in Aberdeen so the XJS has come out to play.

Look forward to seeing you then .... 28 in and 28 out?? for how long? Singa Imigration can start to get a tad arsey over too many repeat entries like that without a suitable EP. Would probably be tax beneficial to be on a singa payrole too .... Just one to check with yourhuggy feely HR department ....

TCM - yes, know there is good TCM in Singapore so that's not a problem.
The school looks OK on its website with fees comaprable to what I pay here (none of that state school malarkey for my bundle of joy).
The dog would have to go back to the racing kennel she came from.
Car - I'd just have to grin and bear it I suppose!
Sorted
Now, must get on with the ship's dive system plumbing arrangment.

Would have though that there is a good traditional meds business here and whats wrong with setting the nipper loose at Chatsworth??
Only issue is that you can't bring the jag here and you probably don't want to know that road tax for a V12 would be around GBP3.5k a year anyway!!!
Edit - just saw that you have the 6 pot so about GBP2.8k ...
Nice motor!!!

Interesting about the pets but greyhounds suffer terribly in heat (and cold). However, if it were to happen it is something to consider.
So that went for about GBP25000, be about GPB10000 I reckon.
On a slightly different front the very last cabriolet (not convertible) ever made has just been auctioned from the JDHT collection. It has just under 2000 miles on the clock but needed recommissioning. Guide price was about GBP5000, about right. Sold to a dealer for just shy of GBP22000 who is now offering it for sale at GBP39950!!!

The Elizabeth on Mt. Elizabeth again.
Could easily get to Clarke Quay.
Probably Wednesday evening would suit me best.
